EXTRAORAL APPROACHES TO MAXILLOFACIAL SKELETON Preliminary Program 12th – 13th of December 2020 9.00 am – 5.00 pm Anatomy Traning Centre, centre of Anatomy an Cell Biology Medical University Vienna Währingerstrasse 13, 1090 Vienna Course language: English the procedure is guided step by step present by: Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sancar Ataç & Dr. Norbert Fock Organizers: Prof.Dr. Hannes Traxler Dr. Norbert Fock Dr. Bülent Manav Course Aim The aim of the course is to provide a practical understanding of the different extraoral surgical approaches used to access the skeletal structures of the maxillofacial region for indications of trauma, tumor, deformity and reconstructive surgery. This course, covers the frequently preferred approaches and techniques in maxillofacial surgery to reach the skeletal structure. PRIMUM NON NOCERE you learn the maxillofacial anatomy in depth, by seeing, touching, feeling the structures, to offer healing without harming our patients. Course Description The participants will perform advanced cosmetic facial surgery techniques as described in Topics. 80% of the course are hands-on with 20% lectures about explanations of the techniques and live or video taped dissection/operation, all step by step.
